ChefsFeed is seeking a full-time Acquisition manager to drive and manage user growth and retention across consumer mobile products, iOS, Android & Web. An ideal candidate can think creatively, work collaboratively and be easily excitable when talking about aggressive user acquisition and retention goals. Starting with key, strategic markets and scaling from there, this role’s key focus will be building and managing creative user acquisition and retention campaigns. He/she will need to be able to identify, develop channels like mobile, SEO/SEM, display retargeting, emerging adtech, etc and be able to understand channel economics to optimize performance.

Experience & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in mobile marketing.

Experience & Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of digital media sales and/or digital media agency experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify and close paid media partnerships with brands and/or agencies.

Account Manager

Position Responsibilities
  • Assist with responding to RFPs including co-development of proposals and media plans
  • Strategize in partnership with Sales to assist in securing new business and grow existing customer base through proactive communication of campaign results as well as opportunities for expansion an/or new product offerings
  • Communicate and coordinate all aspects of campaign components to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Closely monitor creative implementation, ad trafficking and flawless execution
  • Build customer relationships, acting as day-to-day point of contact during post-sales cycle
  • Analyze, track, and report on campaign effectiveness
  • Conduct regular scheduled conference calls to communicate contracted deliverables and progress to customers’ goals and provide optimization recommendations

Lead Backend Developer

ChefsFeed is seeking an experienced backend developer to take on a leadership role on our engineering team. We have big plans for 2019 and need someone who is excited about thinking through and making key decisions regarding our technology strategy, roadmap, and infrastructure, as well as executing on those decisions.

You’ll work closely with our product and distributed engineering teams to build new applications and ensure the stability, scalability, and availability of our infrastructure and server-side technology as we expand into new areas and onto evolving platforms. This is a critical hire at an exciting time for the company, and there’s an enormous opportunity for professional growth.

Responsibilities
  • Become the ultimate steward of our backend technology and infrastructure.
  • Maintain, update, and build new endpoints for features and applications across web, mobile, and OTT.
  • Evaluate technologies and tradeoffs to make and execute on key decisions about streamlining, optimizing, and scaling our technology, taking into consideration cost and performance.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to other developers.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of full-time, backend development work for a leading technology company.
  • Ideally a degree in computer science—we’re looking for a builder who wants to contribute more than just code.
  • Expertise in Ruby, including but not limited to Rails.
  • Experience managing and working in distributed Linux environments: configuration, scripting, automation. We love Unix!

ChefsFeed is seeking a full-time, in-house designer to take a high level of ownership in all things digital design. The person will be focused on designing new features for and improving our award-winning web, mobile, and OTT products, and will also support designing materials for marketing those products.

We need someone with broad experience who’s an expert in product design and also excited about lending their skills to other teams when needed, whether helping create an advertisement or a logo for a hot new event series.

You’ll work closely with both our product and media teams as ChefsFeed scales and expands into new areas and onto new platforms. This is a critical hire and there’s enormous opportunity to grow with the company.

Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain, and evolve visual design guidelines for ChefsFeed’s products.
  • Create and manage asset libraries for reusable, systematic design.
  • Translate product requirements—whether from a spec, whiteboard session, or wireframe—into pixel-perfect designs that can be implemented by engineering.
  • Lead and conduct user research on new and existing designs.
  • Assist with visual design for marketing materials, content, etc as needed.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of full-time digital design work for a leading consumer technology or media company.
  • Expertise in UI, plus some experience with UX.
  • Up-to-date with contemporary design paradigms and best practices.

You will work closely with our product and distributed engineering teams to build new applications and ensure their stability, scalability, and availability as we expand into new areas and onto evolving platforms. This is a critical hire at an exciting time for the company, and there’s an enormous opportunity for professional growth.

Responsibilities
  • Become the in-house expert on our events and experiences web app, API, database, infrastructure, and all supporting technology.
  • Maintain, update, and build new features for web and new endpoints for applications across mobile and OTT.
  • Evaluate technologies and tradeoffs to make and execute on key decisions about streamlining, integrating, and scaling two robust sets of infrastructure, taking into consideration cost and performance.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of full-time, full stack development work for a leading technology company.

  • Expertise in Python and Django, plus some exposure to Node.js.
