User Acquisition & Growth Manager

Team: Marketing

Location: SF


ChefsFeed is seeking a full-time Acquisition manager to drive and manage user growth and retention across consumer mobile products, iOS, Android & Web. An ideal candidate can think creatively, work collaboratively and be easily excitable when talking about aggressive user acquisition and retention goals. Starting with key, strategic markets and scaling from there, this role’s key focus will be building and managing creative user acquisition and retention campaigns. He/she will need to be able to identify, develop channels like mobile, SEO/SEM, display retargeting, emerging adtech, etc and be able to understand channel economics to optimize performance.

Experience & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in mobile marketing.
  • Experience in performance based marketing, utilizing video, display, etc.
  • Blend of creativity and analytical skill.
  • Strong results-oriented, consumer-driven, metrics-driven approach to problem solving.
  • Efficiently operate under a flexible marketing budget.
  • Ideally, passion for mobile and online acquisition mixed with a love of food.

This role will be the face of ChefsFeed for their respective region with significant growth potential commensurate with performance. Primary duties will include prospecting and closing new partnerships as well as co-managing existing partners in collaboration with our Partnerships Management team. Experience & Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of digital media sales and/or digital media agency experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify and close paid media partnerships with brands and/or agencies.
  • Occasional travel throughout assigned territory as well as to our San Francisco headquarters 2-4 times per year.
  • Proficient with media technology (MS Office, CRM, Seller Crowd), digital media economics (CPM, C, E, A) and a cursory understanding of ad serving, targeting and measurement technologies.

Account Manager

Team: Revenue Operations

Our award winning digital properties (iOS, android, web), branded native content, experiential activations, culinary social graph and syndication reach over 100MM and enable us to create 360 campaigns for Fortune 100 brand advertisers. Here are some examples of our work - Travel Portland, Netflix and Coca Cola.

Position Responsibilities
  • Assist with responding to RFPs including co-development of proposals and media plans
  • Strategize in partnership with Sales to assist in securing new business and grow existing customer base through proactive communication of campaign results as well as opportunities for expansion an/or new product offerings
  • Communicate and coordinate all aspects of campaign components to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Closely monitor creative implementation, ad trafficking and flawless execution
  • Build customer relationships, acting as day-to-day point of contact during post-sales cycle
  • Analyze, track, and report on campaign effectiveness
  • Conduct regular scheduled conference calls to communicate contracted deliverables and progress to customers’ goals and provide optimization recommendations
  • Communicate performance metrics achieved at the end of each campaign
  • Manage assigned active client questions and requests with accuracy and sense of timeliness
Experience & Qualifications
  • BA or equivalent
  • ​1-​2 years account management/media planning experience
  • Understanding of ad operations for example, DoubleClick
  • Detail oriented and highly organized proactive thinker, considering ways to support up-selling/driving incremental spend in all communications with clients
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong background in data and analytics
  • People driven, engaging clients over the phone where appropriate
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Tenacious and proven ability to execute sales campaigns
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of ad servers, video platforms and social media platforms are a plus.

Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer

Team: Engineering

Location: SF


ChefsFeed (Credible, Inc.) is seeking a full-time engineer to manage DevOps and server-side development supporting the future of media.

You will work closely with our distributed engineering team to ensure the stability, scalability and availability of our infrastructure as ChefsFeed expands globally, onto new platforms, and into new areas.

You will also work on other backend development projects to support updates to our diverse suite of user-facing products.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Desire to grow professionally in a highly flexible and fast-moving environment; a willingness to learn, proactivity and high productivity are key.
  • 3+ years managing a high-availability server environment preferably built from Ruby, Postgres, ElasticSearch, Redis and Heroku.
  • 3+ years managing distributed Linux environments: configuration, scripting, automation. We love Unix!
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases; Postgres, Redis and ElasticSearch in particular.
  • Comfortable working with remote developers in other countries.
  • Ok with being on-call to respond to emergencies should they arise.
  • Agile/Scrum experience.
  • Ideally a deep love of food.
