This role will be the face of ChefsFeed for their respective region with significant growth potential commensurate with performance. Primary duties will include prospecting and closing new partnerships as well as co-managing existing partners in collaboration with our Partnerships Management team. Experience & Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of digital media sales and/or digital media agency experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify and close paid media partnerships with brands and/or agencies.
  • Occasional travel throughout assigned territory as well as to our San Francisco headquarters 2-4 times per year.
  • Proficient with media technology (MS Office, CRM, Seller Crowd), digital media economics (CPM, C, E, A) and a cursory understanding of ad serving, targeting and measurement technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, equivalent on-the-job experience considered

Account Manager

Team: Revenue Operations

Location: NYC or CHI

Overview

ChefsFeed guides you to the best dishes and food culture, presented by over 2​,000 industry leading chefs. In addition to our dish discovery utility we create original content (videos, stories, guides) and pair chefs with brands through chef influencer programs. Our award winning digital properties (iOS, android, web), branded native content, experiential activations, culinary social graph and syndication reach over 100MM and enable us to create 360 campaigns for Fortune 100 brand advertisers. Here are some examples of our work - Travel Portland, Netflix and Coca Cola.

Position Responsibilities
  • Assist with responding to RFPs including co-development of proposals and media plans
  • Strategize in partnership with Sales to assist in securing new business and grow existing customer base through proactive communication of campaign results as well as opportunities for expansion an/or new product offerings
  • Communicate and coordinate all aspects of campaign components to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Closely monitor creative implementation, ad trafficking and flawless execution
  • Build customer relationships, acting as day-to-day point of contact during post-sales cycle
  • Analyze, track, and report on campaign effectiveness
  • Conduct regular scheduled conference calls to communicate contracted deliverables and progress to customers’ goals and provide optimization recommendations
  • Communicate performance metrics achieved at the end of each campaign
  • Manage assigned active client questions and requests with accuracy and sense of timeliness
Experience & Qualifications
  • BA or equivalent
  • ​1-​2 years account management/media planning experience

Lead Backend Developer

Location: SF or Remote

Overview

ChefsFeed is seeking an experienced backend developer to take on a leadership role on our development team. We’re growing fast and need someone who is excited about thinking through and making key decisions regarding our technology strategy, roadmap, and infrastructure, as well as executing on those decisions.

You’ll work closely with our product and remote development teams to build new applications and ensure the stability, scalability, and availability of our infrastructure and server-side technology as we expand into new areas and onto evolving platforms. This is a critical hire at an exciting time for the company, and there’s an enormous opportunity for professional growth.

Responsibilities
  • Become the ultimate steward of our backend technology and infrastructure.
  • Maintain, update, and build new endpoints for features and applications across web, mobile, and OTT.
  • Evaluate technologies and tradeoffs to make and execute on key decisions about streamlining, optimizing, and scaling our technology, taking into consideration cost and performance.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to other developers.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of full-time, backend development work for a leading technology company or startup.
  • Ideally a degree in computer science—we’re looking for a builder who wants to contribute more than just code.
  • Expertise in Ruby, including but not limited to Rails.
  • Expertise in Python, including but not limited to Django.
  • Experience managing and working in distributed Linux environments: configuration, scripting, automation. We love Unix!
  • Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases and schema design; Postgres, Redis, and ElasticSearch in particular.
  • Experience developing and maintaining performant RESTful APIs for production applications.

GM Experiences Platform & Events

Location: SF

Overview

We're looking for a full-time GM for our rapidly growing Experiences Platform & Events division. In this role, you'll oversee our newly launched ChefsFeed Experiences platform and events for ChefsFeed and its brand partners. An operations-centric GM of events will need to be both strategic and executional; with a mind for both managing the growth and profitability of this division as well as managing pre-production and onsite execution of events. Experiences and events occur nationally (and soon, internationally), so you must be willing and happy to travel once or twice a month.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is able to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with our internal culinary talent, media, and sales teams. Responsibilities range from pre-sale creative ideation, to executing events in the field, to overseeing our digital events platform. You must be comfortable managing a P&L and variety of budgets. In this role you will execute successful and efficient culinary events for both ChefsFeed and co-branded events with our partners. Candidates should possess a strong ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines. Candidates should also be creative problem solvers with a collaborative spirit.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience producing, marketing, and promoting events in the culinary space.
  • Extensive experience working with a variety of clients to develop events across auto, CPG, tech, beverage, travel, and more.
  • Proven experience scaling and managing a business unit.
  • Ability to work with a small team and stay under a production budget.
  • Experience working across departments to communicate with creative leads, talent, account managers, and sales reps.
  • Experience interfacing with clients on kick off calls and at events.
  • Ability to manage the flow of activation-based RFPs, develop creative ideas and budgets, and deliver back to the sales team.
  • Ability to create, manage, and communicate detailed events production timelines, run of show plans, overviews, briefs, etc.
  • Ability to manage permitting, logistics, travel arrangements, release forms, and other logistics involved with events execution.
  • A strong network of freelance events contacts and culinary industry relationships.
  • Restaurant GM or Ops experience is a plus, as many of our events take place in partnership with high-level chef and restaurant partners.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
