"Served with kimchi, a century egg, salsa roja and salsa verde, this dish from Roy Choi is insane. It's listed under the menu section, 'Getting Your Hands Dirty.' Deep and satisfying, the beer-can chicken is something you end up dreaming about it the next day."

"This is made up of a bowl of forgotten parts (oxtail, tendons, knuckles and more) that demonstrates the true chef's ability to make intimidating ingredients approachable and delicious."

"This dish is 'playful' with the pickled jalapeño, crème fraîche, and Cotija cheese. There's great spice from the salsa roja, and the fish is just great."

"I had never dipped a pickle before this, and I realized how much I had been missing out. I kept going around the dish and trying to figure out what I like best: fennel or carrot? Who cares?! They’re all so good! This space is also very cool with a casual neighborhood feel."
Chef Neal Fraser reviews Octopi L.A. at A-Frame

"Chashu-style grilled baby octopus is something I've wanted to make but never put it on the menu. This red glazed octopus with simple greens is well-charred, tender, and very flavorful."
