Where I Eat

From My Menu

Chef Mathieu Cloutier reviews Huîtres garnies au gratin de miso at Le Filet
$$$ | Seafood
Le Plateau-Mont-Royal
"I really like the grilled oysters from Le Filet. They usually use fatty Kushi oysters, which works so well with the saltiness from the miso, the sweetness from the oysters, and the broiled exterior of the gratin."
Chef Emma Cardarelli reviews Cavatelli avec joue de veau at Le Filet
$$$ | Seafood
Le Plateau-Mont-Royal
"I tried this restaurant for the first time just after opening Nora Gray, and it was the first night I had taken away from the restaurant. I went alone and sat at the bar and had an unbelievable meal. My favourite dish that evening—and I've returned many times for it since—was a braised veal cheek cavatelli with foie gras torchon shaved on top. What a delight!"
Chef Dyan Solomon reviews Risotto au crabe at Le Filet
$$$ | Seafood
Le Plateau-Mont-Royal
"This crab risotto has a perfect texture. It's not stiff at all, but it's similar to liquid velvet. It's full of fresh crab and asparagus, making it delicate but not too rich."
Chef Marino Tavares reviews Anything at Le Filet
$$$ | Seafood
Le Plateau-Mont-Royal
"The menu from Le Filet has a variety of Asian and French flavors. It changes seasonally so I can't pick one dish in particular, but I recommend going there as it's one of the top restaurants in Montreal."
