"Everything at Monsieur Benjamin is beautifully prepared, but the sweetbreads have it all. They're crispy, tart, briny, creamy and rich. I could eat them every day. My wife says I'm not allowed to, though. "
Chef Lucas Knox reviews Beef tongue Dijonnaise at Monsieur Benjamin

"This is the best presentation of beef tongue that I’ve had in a long time. It's topped with the mirepoix and a Djionnaise that's the perfect tangy, acidic complement to the beef tongue."
Chef Alejandro Morgan reviews Palmier ice cream at Monsieur Benjamin

"When I was growing up, I could eat a container of Häagen-Dazs dulce de leche. (What can I say? Dulce de leche is my thing.) The palmier ice cream here brings me back to those days, only this is, like, 4 times better. Great flavor and texture."
Chef Freedom Rains reviews Burger at Monsieur Benjamin

"Open till midnight and the burger is the perfect size. It comes with perfectly cooked fries, a pickle that’s acidic enough to cut through the richness, and an amazing bone marrow marmalade to round it out."

"My favorite tartare (steak) in the city. The richness of the egg yolk adds a great deal of complexity to every bite. The delicate lavash is a lovely vehicle to scoop up every last morsel..."
