Chef Gregory Gourdet reviews Phở at
"With a rotating schedule of two flavors a day, you might see any flavor of Vietnamese soup from shrimp to spicy beef to snail. The bowls come heaping with meat, veggies, noodles, and herbs, and the broths are packed with nuanced flavors. Having to drive out to this hole-in-the-wall is half the fun and worth it. Get there way before noon—they sell out around then."
Chef Andy Ricker reviews Mì Quảng at
"This is breakfast for me everyday when I'm in town. Two homemade Vietnamese noodle soups are served each day, and they're done with a level of quality that is unsurpassed in the area. They're served by a lovely family, and gone by noon. My favorite dish there is the Mì Quảng, a South Central Vietnamese dish with turmeric-flavored rice noodles with pork broth, balls, belly, and ground pork, along with herbs, veggies, rice crackers, and prawns. It's delicious and a bit unusual."
Chef John Gorham reviews Phở gà at
"Go early in the day, because they usually sell out of their daily-changing Vietnamese soup by early afternoon. I go on Fridays for their incredible chicken noodle soup—the flavors are so clean and simple. It's Vietnamese comfort food."
