Chef Melissa Perello reviews Chicory salad at
"I love the chicory salad because it hits every standpoint from flavor and texture. There is so much dynamic to this dish—sweet from the date vinaigrette, bitter from the chicories, and salty and crunchy from the crispy chicken skin. It's just plain delicious."
Chef Geoffrey Lee reviews Dried porcini doughnuts at
"This dish is a form of gluttony that I have no reservations about diving into! The combination of textures and flavors is like nothing else I've tried in San Francisco. The first two times I went here, I was fortunate enough to enjoy chef Evan's tasting menu. On both occasions the porcini donuts came out with the appetizers and were so good that I had to order them again after dinner and dessert. So it was the dessert to my desserts. You cannot afford to miss this."
Chef Scott Whitman reviews Chicken liver mousse at
"This is probably one of the best chicken liver preparations I've had. It is thinly spread around the bottom of a small bowl and then topped with expertly puffed rice and domes of puréed cranberry. I'm not sure if it's a regular on their "bites" offerings, but it should be."
