Where I Go Out

At My Venues

Crispy sweet and spicy pork belly

"Let me start off by saying that I don't understand kimchi... I don't like the way it smells, the way it tastes or the texture, but put it with this pork belly and it's one of my all time favorite pork dishes. The sweet and spicy sauce cuts through the fatty pork belly and makes you feel like you can eat 10 pounds of it during one sitting."
Caponata pizza
$$, Outdoor Seating, Pizza, Little Haiti
"I love a good pizza and everyone has their favorites. My spot would have to be Harry's. The pizza here is always evolving and getting better. The dough on all of the pies has a great balance of lightness, crunch, and chew. My mainstay is the caponata: cubes of melting eggplant and tomatoes laced with chunks of local mozzarella and basil—so simple but bloody good! Harry's has great rotating wine and beer lists too. Grab a side of polenta fries and don't forget to ask for the house hot sauce!"
