About Dan Kheloussi

Hi, I'm Dan. I've been a volunteer with Freshfarm Markets for about two years (currently assisting in taking down the Crystal City market every week), which I think earned me a ticket to this site! I work for the Department of Energy primarily on electricity market policies (particularly for new energy technologies), and am a grad student taking Economics courses in the evenings. My mom is from Northern Italy, and so I love the mix of Bavarian and Italian influences on the food there. I also really love any dish from Southeast Asia. Those are thus my two specialties cooking-wise.
