"I will admit that I'm very preferential to the location on 1st Ave. S.–the other ones don't compare! My favorite phở is the Cyclo, the one that comes with everything: all the fat, tendons, tripe, all that stuff! It's very satisfying."

"This popular lunch spot in Pioneer Square is known for their turkey sandwiches. Why? For one, the turkey is freshly roasted and sliced, and they don't mess it up; they simply pile it onto white bread and add mayo. Simply perfect."

"I think this is the best ice cream in the city. Owner Adria Shimada is one of the only folks in town who makes hers from scratch. All of her ingredients are organic. For her chocolate ice cream, she uses organic chocolate from TCHO in San Francisco. I think her ice cream is amazing."

"The constantly rotating menu makes it clear this is really about the fresh pasta, and it’s amazing. I’m happy to order anything they’re serving that day, and I like to order more than one dish to share."

"A Seattle classic, this restaurant defines Pan-Asian food. The crab is cooked perfectly and then finished with an earthy, salty fermented soy bean sauce. Also try the duck with pinch buns and the seven-flavor beef."

"In Philly, they say, "Give it the wand," which is Cheez Whiz, so I always ask for the wand—no Provolone here! It's a gut bomb every time, so you definitely want to make room for a nap afterward. What's funny to me is that it is so good, they have a line-cam so you can actually go online, check out the line, and gauge how long your sandwich is going to take."

"If this hearty dish isn't on the dinner menu, you can usually find it on the happy hour menu or just ask for it. It's amazing—the espresso-rubbed beef short ribs are tender and absolutely delicious."

"I love Matt’s food, so when Lecosho opened, I was first in line. As expected, he didn’t disappoint. Juicy and with just the right amount of crispiness on the skin, the porchetta was flavorful but not showy."

"This pork belly is tender, sweet, and incredibly flavorful. The sides change depending on the season, but when I had it, it was served atop creamy lentils. Paired with a terrific wine that came at their recommendation, it made for a memorable evening."
