When it comes to gratin, the ultimate in comfort food nostalgia, chef Meghann Ward (Tapestry, Boston) likes hers with sweet potatoes and handfuls of Gruyere and pecorino cheese. (We like ours with Veggie Bullet, so we don’t spend hours slicing potatoes by hand.)
